I just submitted Goo Goo Zoo to the App store for approval. It’s been a long 5 months of working nights and weekends, but it’s finally done. When it’s approved Goo Goo Zoo will run on iphone, ipod touch, and ipad.

Pumpkin Approved is live
In anticipation of the upcoming release of my first iPhone Game Goo Goo Zoo, I spent this last week working on this website. I finally flipped the switch and pumpkinapproved.com is now open for business.
I decided to use wordpress to power my site. Because wordpress is so cool, most of my time was spent writing a custom theme to give the site it’s look and feel. I wanted to have a few “static” pages and a Blog page that was dynamic. I was able to achieve this by creating Pages for each of the static pages and putting in a bunch of hand crafted html and css. I had considered just writing some static html pages and putting wordpress under a blog directory, but wordpress gives me a lot of cool features. For example, I can use the plugin architecture to enable google analytics. I can also rely on wordpress for my pretty URLs.
Thanks for visiting. Any feedback is welcome.
